      Hah! Which one?
In this sentence, you don’t need to use “是”, you can just say “我的中文老师很漂亮!”.
      Examples: “我的学生很帅” “他很好”

I think Chinese works like Greek – and no other language I know. The direct transitive forms of marrying are gender specific:
        我以前想娶她, 可是她就不想嫁我了, 因此我永遠也不會跟她結婚。
Furthermore, there exists a separate noun:
        而且, 我不想去她的婚姻。

Of course! I know some of my comments are odd, but since I am currently working on paperwork to teach in China, some of those phrases are going to be essential for me in daily conversation. Being able to talk about dating/wedding/other topics are just going to be a part of what I encounter while I am there.

        婚姻 is “Marriage”
        婚礼 is “Wedding”
        You can just say “婚姻需要誠信”
