    1. 一年之计在于春.
Literal sense: the whole year must be planned for in the spring.
Figurative sense: early planning is the key to success.
    3. 野火烧不尽,春风吹又生.
Literal sense: even a prairie fire cannot destroy the grass – it grows again when the breeze blows
Figurative sense: cannot be easily eliminated.

    FYI,

    “一日之计在于晨,一年之计在于春,一生之计在于勤。”
“Yī rì zhī jì zàiyú chén,yī nián zhī jì zàiyú zàiyú chūn,yīshēng zhī jì zàiyú qín。”

    try translate this one 🙂

By the similar way of traslation I used, the sentence “一日之计在于晨,一年之计在于春,一生之计在于勤。” can be understood as “the whole day must be planned for in the morning, the whole year must be planned for in the spring, the whole human life must be planned for by the diligence (勤劳的勤). Is it right?

      我不是中国人。范斌是我的中国姓名 。。。。hehehe
