The Miss Universe China is still a very young contest, with only starting in 2001
– The first ever winner of the Miss Universe China was Guangdong province representing Zhuo Ling in March, 2002. Zhou Ling went on to the Miss Universe contest, where she was placed as the 2nd runner-up (See Below).

– In 2009 – Wang Jingyao from Shandong was crowned Miss Universe China, who went on to win the “Miss Congeniality” award nominated by her fellow contestants (See Below).

– In 2011, Shanghai representing Roseline Luo Zilin was placed as 4th runner-up of the Miss Universe pageant. Following the competition, Roseline became a contestant on the reality television program “The Face” on the Oxygen network hosted by Naomi Campbell, where she was declared runner-up (See Below).
