As long as my foot is healing I thought I would stay in the loop.

I sat in on the most recent SexyMandarin shoot today.

It was a fantasy game of Twister I suspect guys dream about.

3 girls and the one true winner of the game is the student.

I’ve been enjoying some downtime while I recover from my ankle injury.  I have been working on some SexyMandarin lessons.  Check out this article where I translate the Start Spangled Banner.

I took another day off to recoup and rest.

I also got some great photos of Vanessa, modeling a T-Shirt, Yan & I helped design.

It was an idea we had when we first saw the website in a library in China.

Today I am spending in bed resting up.

I have a set of crutches that I am learning how to use.

I have never used them before and I am not a big fan.

They hurt your arm pits so much!

Has anyone else ran into this problem?

I need to look into getting a wheel chair.

I talked about my injury last week, hoping that it would heal much quicker than it looks like it will.  The production team met and decided to push back the start for the music video to wait for me to heal.  I feel such overwhelming support for everyone.  I know this is not common in the industry and will continue to work my hardest to recover fully and make the video the best it can be.

I started rehabbing my ankle today.  Unfortunalty my doctor isn’t as pretty as Claire.

Hopefully I will be ready for dance practice next week.  They are going to push filming of the music video back a bit for me.  But I know they can’t push it back too far.  So much stress today.  I can only give it my best.

Princess Bubblegum

I am a huge fan of the cartoon network show Adventure Time.  I use it to learn english, and it always cheers me up.  One of the main characters is Princess Bubblegum, she is so empowered and authoritative I love it!

In dance practice yesterday I hurt my ankle. I landed on my foot wrong and it appears I have sprained it. Really I can’t explain my emotions right now. I have been working so hard towards this project and have to take at least a week off now to recover.  I hope to be able to dance when we finally film. I will keep you posted and keep trying.
